What is the Androfill procedure?
A non-invasive way to increase the girth of the penis using established techniques from aesthetic medicine. Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is injected under the skin around the shaft using a blunt cannula. It takes under 30 minutes with topical anesthetic cream only.
Will I be awake?
Yes. Only topical anesthetic is used. You are not sedated, you can leave the clinic immediately afterwards, and you are able to drive yourself home.
Are there stitches?
No. The entry points are the width of a needle and close on their own within seconds.
Is the result immediate?
Yes. Girth increases during the procedure. Swelling in the first few days means the very early appearance is not the final result.
Will it increase my erect length?
No. Filler sits under the skin, not inside the erectile bodies, so it cannot add erect length. It increases girth only. Any clinic promising erect length from an injection is misleading you.
How long does it last?
The estimated half-life is one to two years, depending on the filler used and on factors specific to you. It is not permanent.
Is it reversible?
Yes, when hyaluronic acid is used — it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Collagen stimulators and permanent fillers cannot be reversed, which is why Androfill does not use them in the USA.
How much filler will I need?
Most patients start with 10–15 ml and reassess before any top-up. The right volume depends on your starting girth and your goal. The girth estimator gives an approximate figure.
Why not put in as much as possible at once?
Beyond a certain volume the shaft can feel padded rather than firm when erect. Building in stages lets you assess the result before adding more.
What is the recovery like?
No gym for one week and no sex for two weeks. Expect some swelling, tenderness and possibly bruising for the first several days.
How safe is it?
Serious complications are uncommon but real. The most significant is vascular occlusion. A blunt cannula, correct placement plane and hyaluronidase kept on site all reduce and manage that risk.
Will my partner notice?
A girth increase is visible and palpable immediately. How noticeable it is depends on the volume placed relative to your starting size.
Does insurance cover it?
No. Medicare and private health insurance do not cover the Androfill procedure.
